Films: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012)
Alias: Various, notably Adam, Jack Barts, and Vadona
Type: Mystical
Location: Civilized Area
Height/Weight: That of average humans.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: We all know that Abraham Lincoln was one of the few presidents who we could actually celebrate without bringing up disturbing truths about them. Truly, a man of the people. But did you know that his fight against the South during the Civil War had more stakes than usual?
History: Abe Lincoln lost his parents at a young age to a slave owner they worked for. As it turns out, that guy was a vampire under the employ of Adam. In fact, the whole point of slavery seems to be so that the vampires have something to bite into forever. It's up to Lincoln and a good vampire to stop both the slave trade and the vampires that prosper from it, primarily Adam's clan.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: Through trickery, Abe is able to kill Adam with a silver watch. The rest of the vampires are cut down by silver weapons, with Adam's sister Vadona in particular getting shot by Abe's wife. The president refuses to become a vampire despite the benefits, but in the present, his old friend lives long enough to find a successor...
Powers/Abilities: Super-strength, conversion/fatal bites, teleportation.
Weakness: Silver.
Scariness Factor: 4-While the CGI can be a bit hokey at times, you cannot deny that the vamps here are dead-set on making the South worse than it already was. It was bad enough that they were rich and in league with the slave-owners, but then you throw in the fact that slaves were cattle to these guys and you just want to see Lincoln bury that axe in them faster.
Trivia: -During the making of this film, Adam's actor, Rufus Sewell, accidentally broke his fake vampire teeth biting someone due to not being familiar with how this whole vampire thing works.
-Apparently, Lincoln's actor, Benjamin Walker, did his own stunts with that axe.
